If you've been browsing our tour catalogue, you'll have noticed a GO English badge on some itineraries. It's worth understanding what this product is, because it solves a specific problem for a specific traveller, and if you're that traveller, it's exactly what you want.
What is GO English?
GO English is a Europamundo product line built specifically for English-speaking travellers. The guide speaks English only. The documentation is English only. The whole group is English-speaking. There is no bilingual layer, no English-then-Spanish daily briefings, no waiting while the guide repeats the same information in another language.
For travellers who find the bilingual format frustrating (and some do, particularly on longer tours), GO English is the answer. You're moving through the same Europamundo network, staying in the same hotels, eating at the same restaurants, getting the same level of guide expertise, just in your language only.
The from-1-passenger guarantee
The most-quoted feature of GO English: the tours run from one passenger. Not two. Not four. Not six. One.
That means a solo traveller booking a GO English departure is not waiting nervously to see if enough other people sign up. Their booking confirms their tour. This is the strongest version of the Europamundo guaranteed-departure model, and it's what makes GO English the default product line for solo travellers who want certainty.
The April-to-October window
GO English runs seasonally (April through October) across the European, Asian, and Middle Eastern itineraries. The dates are published well in advance and weekly departures are common on the popular routes (Italy, Spain, France, the UK, Morocco, Egypt).
Winter Europe is not currently in the GO English schedule. If you want a winter European tour (Christmas markets, ski-edge Italy, the Iberian sun) you'll be on a standard Europamundo bilingual tour, which is still well run and English-guided, just not GO English specifically.
Group size and feel
GO English tours typically run with smaller groups than the standard product, 15 to 30 passengers is common, versus 30 to 45 on a standard tour. This isn't a "small group" tour in the marketing-jargon sense; it's a regular Europamundo coach with fewer seats sold per departure. The vibe is friendly, the pace is unchanged, and the coach is more comfortable for not being full.
Pricing
GO English departures are priced slightly higher than the equivalent bilingual departures, usually by 10 to 15 percent. The premium reflects the higher guide cost (English-only specialist) and the lower passenger density per coach. Many travellers find that worth it; some don't and prefer the bilingual price point. There's no wrong answer.
Solo travellers in particular tend to come out ahead on GO English, because some departures run with no single supplement or a reduced one, designed for the solo demographic that books these tours most heavily.
Who is GO English not for?
If you want winter departures, GO English isn't the answer, book the standard product instead. If you specifically want a bilingual experience (some travellers do; it adds an interesting cultural layer) GO English will feel a little quieter than you expect. And if you want a tour shorter than 4 days, GO English doesn't run at that length yet.
How to find them
Filter the browse page by GO English. Every itinerary that runs as a GO English departure will surface. Or just ask us, we keep a running list of the GO English schedule and can usually flag a departure that fits your dates.
For solo travellers, this is the easiest decision in the catalogue. From one passenger. Guaranteed. April to October. That's the product.
