People ask us the same question almost every week: which Europamundo tour should I actually book? The honest answer is that it depends on how many days you have, how many countries you want to tick off, and how much time you want to spend on a coach versus walking around a city. To make that decision easier, we've pulled the ten most-requested Europamundo tours from South Africa and laid them out side-by-side.
Below each tour you'll find a small route diagram showing the order of stops, useful because Europamundo itineraries often loop in ways that aren't obvious from the brochure title. After the cards there's a full comparison table you can scan in about thirty seconds. Prices shown are the "from" rates in rands for the lead-in departure; actual prices vary by season, room type and add-ons like the Plus Pack of optional excursions.

Which tour suits which traveller
If this is your first time in Europe and you've got somewhere between R25,000 and R30,000 per person to spend on the land portion, the Italian Mosaic or Iberian Escape are the obvious starting points. Both are single-country (or near-enough) tours, which means less time on the coach and more time actually walking around. The Grand Tour of Europe is tempting on paper because it covers everything, but 22 days is a serious commitment, you're moving cities almost daily, which suits some people and exhausts others. Be honest with yourself before you book.
Couples on a second or third trip tend to gravitate toward Greek Odyssey, Italy & Croatia, or Scandinavia Highlights, these have more "wow scenery" moments and the group sizes are a touch smaller. Travellers nervous about the language barrier almost always pick Britain & Ireland; everyone speaks English and the queues at Heathrow move in straight lines, which counts for something after a long-haul flight.
Pricing notes, what's actually included
The "from" prices above cover land arrangements only: hotels (3- and 4-star, breakfast daily), coach transport, the services of a tour director, and city entries listed in the itinerary. They do not include international flights to the start city, the Plus Pack of optional excursions (usually €200 to €450 per tour), travel insurance, or visas. As a rough guide, budget another R12,000 to R18,000 for flights from Johannesburg or Cape Town, depending on season and how early you book.
The cheapest dates are almost always the second half of October through mid-March, excluding Christmas week. If you can travel in November or early February, you'll often save R3,000 to R5,000 per person against peak July prices, and the cities are noticeably quieter.
How to book
Every journey above runs on multiple departure dates between now and December 2027. Pick the one that fits your dates and book it online with live availability, no obligation until you do. A R3,000 deposit per person holds your seat, and the balance is due 75 days before departure.
